It bugs me every time I go to a website that requires me to click on a cookie notice in order to view the information. That’s I why I removed all cookies from our website a long time ago. I don’t want patients to have to click another extraneous item in order to use our website.
As I looked into this issue more recently, I found it’s actually highly questionable that US websites must follow EU (European Union) website law and implement cookie notices. However many US websites still do this.
A helpful tool I have been using to keep down these notices is the browser extension I Don’t Care About Cookies. It’s available for the Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera browsers. I hope this plugin might help you, as it has helped me, have a slightly better day without cookie notices. 🙂
